The historic church of St. Mary’s in the parish of South Lancing and Sompting is situated in the South Downs National Park, near Worthing in West Sussex.
The Friends of Sompting Church (Registered charity number 285958) aim to maintain the beauty and integrity of the 1000-year-old Saxon church of St Mary’s, Sompting, Sussex BN15 0AZ, famous all over the world for its tower with a Rhenish Helm.
We raise funds and organise events, and seek to ensure it can go on being useful and inspiring to its congregation and to the wider community. We look forward to welcoming visitors and supporters from near or far.
